Sangli Mission is a Mission region in the Diocese of Kalyan entrusted to The Missionary Society of St. Thomas The Apostle in 1990.

This region comprises of 4 districts Viz. Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, & Sindhudurg. Sharing the vision of MST and Kalyan diocese 39 MST priests, 44 sisters from various religious congregations and other collaborators work in this mission to spread the good news of Jesus through various apostolate from 20 mission stations.


In order to coordinate the various developmental activities a legal body called Sangli Mission Society was registered in 1993. All the developmental activities are carried out through Sangli mission society.
